As a member of the Anglo Norse Society you will receive an invitation to all our events, which amount generally to eight per year.

We distribute information well in advance to our members through our newsletter, and offer events which range from an array of topics such as concerts, art, music, literature, outings, talks, cheese and wine get togethers, quizzes. The cutting of the Trafalgar Square Christmas Tree in December (an old tradition where Norway sends a  tree every year to Great Britain). We end the year with an enormously popular Christmas Party at the British Ambassador’s residence , with entertainment, traditional British Christmas food and drinks, rounding off with carol singing around the piano . The majority of these events are free, but we do occasionally have to take a small cover charge. In addition to our newsletters you will receive two copies of the Anglo -Norse Review magazine in the post during the course of the year. At present our events take place in “Frogner Kirkestue” right next to Frogner church in Bygdøy Alle. Transport facilities are excellent both west and east bound. Our events usually start at 7:00pm and are rounded off with refreshments and beverages, and time to mingle and meet with new and old friends.  Membership fees are currently kr 350,- for singles and kr 500,- for a family. We prefer to communicate by e-mail, but should you not have access through internet you will receive information by post.
